Supervisors re-elect Hinkle, Jones as chair, vice-chair

The Appomattox County Board of Supervisors held its 2025 organizational meeting on Thursday, Jan. 2 to elect a chairman and vice-chairman and discuss other matters.

John Hinkle was re-elected to serve as chairman for 2025, the same position he held in 2024. Likewise, Alfred Jones III was re-elected as vice-chairman.

In addition, Appomattox County Administrator Susan Adams was again confirmed as Clerk of the Board.
