On Friday evening of Dec. 13, T&C Promotions brought back singer/songwriter Jimmy Fortune to Appomattox County High School for a Christmas concert.

Fortune, formerly with the Statler Brothers for 21 years, has continued writing songs and entertaining crowds out on his own since the Statler Brothers retired in 2002. Friday night, a packed auditorium of people young and old were entertained with fan favorites of the past, new songs recently written, and Christmas music to put everyone in the holiday spirit. Fortune also included many stories throughout the show. It was truly a wonderful night of entertainment.

This concert was made possible by T&C Promotions, a non-profit organization founded by Tony Clifton and Cindy Tweedy (Host of the Big Bluegrass Bonanza radio show) located in Appomattox.
