Team Crossover of Appomattox competed last weekend, March 17-19, in their respective individual events at Virginia Beach. All the athletes performed very well amid tough competition.

The event was the first national exposure for Sarai Glover and Micah Johnson. Nadiyah Abdussalaam recorded a personal record in the girls 60-meter hurdles.

Results for Team Crossover are as follows:

Courtnee Holland: Middle School Girls: 200-meter dash (Placed 6th, personal record 26.6 seconds); long jump (Placed 8th), 400-meter dash (Placed 22nd)

Sarai Glover: Girls National triple jump (Placed 30th)

Nadiyah Abdussalaam: Girls National triple jump (Placed 19th) and 60-meter hurdles (Placed 30th, personal record 9.84 seconds)

Micah Johnson: Boys National triple jump (Placed 40th)
