As the Page Turns: Christmas Cheer at the Library!

Keith from CVACL (Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living Inc.) stopped by on Monday, December 9th to pick up donated gifts from the “Elves for Elders” outreach. The library has been working with CVACL for almost a decade to help bring local seniors a bit of holiday joy during the winter season. Thanks to the generous donations of our patrons, we filled the bus with ribbons, boxes, bows, bags, and more! Without the support of our patrons programs like these could not be possible.

There is an elf on the loose in the library! Bob the Library Elf of the Shelf is skateboarding through the library being naughty! He is quick and likes to hide in different places around the library. If you happen to see him, please feel free to take a photo of him and tag us! Staff will post photos of him on our Facebook (www.facebook.com/JamersonMemorialLibrary), Instagram (www.instagram.com/jamersonlibrary), and Bluesky (@jamersonlibrary.bsky.social) accounts when we catch up with him.
