$1,200 brought in for cause

A fundraiser for Appomattox Relay for Life was held Saturday, Sept. 26, at Bull Daddy’s restaurant, bringing in $1,200 that will go to the American Cancer Society. According to Appomattox Relay for Life Chapter Co-chairman Crystal Butler, Zach Burnette and Patrick Devenport opened up with music, followed by Mark Ryan and Brandie Hanks, then Russell Lynch Band (above), Dennis Scott and guest David Wright, Morn the Illusion and Loud. Butler thanked John Grissom for providing sound and equipment and managing the event, as well as Ronald Denton and Bull Daddy’s for allowing the fundraiser and T.J. Peterson for security, among others.
