The Lynchburg Art Club’s “BRAVO Boehmer!” will celebrate the artist, teacher and mentor Ron Boehmer. It will include 50 paintings by his students and include work by Boehmer himself, including the painting, “The Tower, Breaks Interstate Park,” for which there will be a silent auction. The exhibit will open First Friday, Oct. 2, from 3 to 8 p.m., and will run through Sunday, Oct. 18. The opening weekend will include Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday Oct. 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. All work is for sale.
