Funds donated for new sign at McLean House
- Carol Williams/Contributed
Children of the Confederacy Virginia Division President and Charlotte County native Autumn Shook presented the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park with a check to replace a sign at the McLean House. Autumn’s Project as Virginia Division CofC President was to raise funds to help with replacing old and worn out signs at the park. Even with the pandemic at hand, Autumn did well with receiving support for her project. This will help to insure that history will not be forgotten for future generations that visit Appomattox Court House Park.
