Do you know of a recent graduate or a college student interested in agriculture?

The Appomattox County Farm Bureau is offering a $1000 scholarship to a recent high school graduate or a current college student enrolled in an agricultural degree program.

The scholarship program recognizes individuals for outstanding academic, community, and agribusiness achievement who are planning to continue their education in an agriculture or forestry related field.

Applications for this scholarship can be picked up at the Appomattox Farm Bureau Office located at 230 Lees Crossing Lane; Appomattox, VA 24522.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the applications are located in a container located outside the building near the entrance door. Applications can also be picked up at the Appomattox County Extension Office. Call (434) 352-8244.

Completed applications should be mailed to the Appomattox County Farm Bureau office for consideration.
