The 50th anniversary of the Historic Appomattox Railroad Festival held a Teddy Bear Parade on Sunday that brought joy to many people of all ages.
“This year’s was more unique because we incorporated the 50th anniversary theme,” stated Exhibit and Display Coordinator and Teddy Bear Parade Coordinator Stacy Purcell.
Many people enjoyed the variety of floats, the setting and the opportunity of becoming involved in the community.
This year, the Appomattox Railroad Festival had 15 entries for the Teddy Bear Parade, which allowed the parade to have an array of floats.
