Wolfbane, in conjunction with Jamerson Building Supply and Davidson, Doyle & Hilton, LLP, will continue its highly anticipated, 16th anniversary season with an outdoor production of one of the company’s most popular Shakespearean adaptations, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Audience Choice Poll winner for 2023, this high-energy, 90s pop adaptation will take place under the stars at the Wolfbane Performing Arts Center, located at 618 Country Club Rd, Appomattox. This production will run May 26, 27, 28, June 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, and 24. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring their own low-backed lawn chair. Based on Shakespeare’s famous romantic comedy about mischievous fairies wreaking havoc on the mortal world, Wolfbane’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is full of fantasy and magic — set to score of 90s pop favorites from Boyz II Men, Britney Spears, Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, Mariah Carey, N’SYNC, Spice Girls, and more.
