On Friday night, the Appomattox Raiders football team hosted the Heritage Pioneers. Appomattox lost to the Pioneers 48-0.

Appomattox County High School (ACHS) inducted five new members into the Scholastic Sports Hall of Fame during halftime. The following members were inducted:

Pierce Bryant, Class of 2020

Sasha Mayberry Garrett, Class of 1998

Sammy Leap, Class of 2014

Robin Paulette, Class of 1983

Reggie Turner, Class of 1990
