On Saturday, March 4, the Family Dollar store in Appomattox held a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate its Grand Reopening.

The store had officially been reopened for a few weeks following a week-long closing in February when the store went through a series of upgrades, including a brand new layout, new signage and the addition of new items for sale.

Store manager Amanda Spina referred to the temporary closing as a “reorganizing week” that gives the store a “fresh look.”
