The Appomattox County Electoral Board announced they are moving the Stonewall voting precinct location from the Stonewall convenience center (located at 5122 Stonewall Rd.) to the Gleaning for the World facility (located at 7539 Stage Rd.)

Frank Poynter, chair of the Appomattox County Electoral Board, made the announcement at the Monday, Sept. 21, Appomattox County Board of Supervisors meeting — 43 days away from Election Day.

The change of location is temporary, said Poynter.

“It’s for this location only. It’s a temporary move,” Poynter stressed.
