When the Virginia High School League (VHSL) released its 2019-20 Class 1 through Class 6 All-State Basketball teams this week, Appomattox Raiders senior Tyler Gilliam was on the list.

Gilliam earned Class 2 Second Team honors.

The Class 2 First and Second Teams are as follows:

Coach of the Year: Ty White (John Marshall)
