Appomattox Team Crossover wins 13 medals  in N.C. meet

Team Crossover (Appomattox) recently traveled to St. Augustine University in Raleigh, N.C., to compete in the first first annual Bershawn Jackson Track Invitational.

Below are athletes who brought home medals for Appomattox:

• Madison Martin: girls 1500-meter run (first place), girls 800-meter run (first place)

• Courtnee Holland: girls long jump (first place), girls triple jump (first place)

• Mariam Robindolph: girls 1500-meter run (first place), girls 800-meter run (second place)

• Mikey Dapaah: boys shot put (first place)

• Elly Nash: girls 800-meter run (second place)

• Kadence Nash: girls long jump (second place)

• Jeremiah Tryon: boys 800-meter run (third place), boys 200-meter hurdles (second place)

• Chase McFadden: boys long jump (third place)

• Evyon Walker: boys long jump (second place)

Other Notable results:

• Malia Tucker: girls long jump (seventh place)

• Desyre Christian: girls long jump (fifth place)
