Gary’s Corner: The Gates of Hell

The Civil War has been waging for several years as we ride with Confederate Raiders from Northern Texas. We are in Kansas in search of anything to help the Southern cause: money, cattle. We are terrorists and it is a blood bath to anyone that we came upon.

We killed every man, woman and child and burned homes and barns to the ground. Nothing could stop our wrath or our destruction.

The Union Army of Tennessee has sent 10,000 troops to find and destroy our band of about 4,000 men and horses. Their movement of troops is giving General Hood in Atlanta some relief. Our advantage was we were all mounted guerrilla fighters and extremely good at our task. The Union only sent 500 mounted troops.
