Town of Appomattox to begin New Year with new website

The beginning of a New Year signifies a new website for the Town of Appomattox. On Jan. 3, 2024, the upgraded site will launch with a new look and additional features.

According to Town Manager Terry McGhee, the site will provide greater ability for people to obtain information and conduct business online via modern technology, as well as reduce the need for face-to-face contact for those who have health-related concerns.

“Online services have become a realistic expectation in social life, business and government that should always be available,” McGhee said in a news release shared with the Times Virginian.
