Harkin, Hamilton of Appomattox are FFA State Champs in Horticulture Contest

Six members of the Appomattox Senior FFA chapter competed in the statewide FFA Horticulture and Agriscience Demonstration contests held at the State Fair of Virginia.

Bailey Hamilton and Larken Harris competed in the Landscape, Installation and Maintenance division of the Horticulture Demonstration contest and were named the 2022 State Champions. They demonstrated how to create and care for a fall-themed porch planter.
