The Appomattox County Electoral Board is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of General Registrar to oversee all aspects of voter registration and managing elections in the county.  The successful candidate must be a registered voter in the Commonwealth of Virginia, have up-to-date technology skills and experience working with the public.  A college degree is a plus.  Must be available to work a few evenings and weekends for each election and be able to lift up to 15 pounds.  Applicants should submit an Appomattox County Application for Employment which can be found at www.appomattoxcountyva.gov to the Appomattox County Electoral Board by March 20, 2020.  Applications can be submitted via email to govote011@appomattoxcountyva.gov or by mail to Appomattox County Electoral Board, PO Box 8, Appomattox, VA 24522 or in person to the Office of the General Registrar.
