Due to our concerns for patron's safety, the Jamerson Library has temporarily closed the right side of the computer bank and the seating area. Summer Reading is in full swing and there are approximately four weeks to go. That is still plenty of time to come, sign up, and start earning prizes or raffle ticket entries, depending upon which group you qualify for. For more information you can visit our website at www.jrjml.org/summer.

On Wednesday, June 26th, Tifini drove her best friend Spot to the Jamerson Library. Who is Spot? Spot is a bus full of books that is painted like a dalmatian dog. Spot is sponsored by Appomattox Literacy Intervention Project (A.L.I.P.), a non-profit charitable organization which began in 1996 in order to promote literacy throughout Appomattox County. This library accepts book returns on behalf of A.L.I.P. You can drop off Spot or Dot books here during normal business hours.
