The Town of Appomattox announced the changed dates for Spring Clean Up. The dates are April 6-10 and April 13-17.

The Town asks residents to place natural refuse such as brush, grass clippings, leaves and tree limbs no longer than six feet at the curbside for pickup. Limbs are to be placed parallel to the road.

Bulk items such as appliances and furniture will not be picked up until further notice due to coronavirus COVID-19 precautions.

All household trash to be picked up on Tuesdays must be bagged and placed into a trash receptacle. Residents are asked to place the wheels of receptacles toward their house to ensure the safety of Republic employees and minimize damage to the receptacle.

For public safety reasons during the coronavirus pandemic, trash that is not bagged or placed in trash receptacles will not be picked up.
