Martin sets ACHS record in 5K cross country course run

Madison Martin set a new Appomattox County High School record for a 5K run at the Knights Crossing Invitational meet on Saturday, Sept. 10. Martin completed the girls 5K course in a time of 20:38, which is a personal record for her as well as being a record-setter.

Three other Raider runners also achieved personal record times.

Clay Hamilton also set a personal record in the boys 5K, completing the course in a time of 19:03.

Elly Nash and Lucas Hunter competed in the middle school 4K races and set personal best times.
