The Appomattox Raiders indoor track and field team competed Saturday in the Fred Hardy Invitational at Fork Union as one of 51 registered competing high schools.

“Overall everyone improved and is getting better some with personal records they beat already, and I'm really proud of the team and how they are growing as a team,” said Raiders head coach Chris Aliperti. “They are really working hard and we are a young team with lots of potential to be good and get better.”
