As the Page Turns: Holiday Hustle & Bustle!

The staff of the Jamerson Library would like to wish all of our patrons a Happy Thanksgiving! With the holiday season in full swing, we are the perfect place to check out a movie or two for a family movie night, read a best seller curled up with a warm blanket, get a magazine or book to find the perfect seasonal look for your home, or be inspired to find a new hobby and make your gifts this year.

We would like to thank everyone who showed up and supported us by making a purchase during last week’s book sale. All proceeds will be used toward the purchase of new materials or to sponsor extra programming and events. We still have plenty of books for sale on the main floor of the library, just look for the blue bookshelves next to our community bulletin board.

On Monday, November 18th, Vickie, a representative from the Central Virginia Alliance For Community Living Inc. (CVACL), stopped by to drop off the tags for the library’s Elves for Elders Tree. What is Elves for Elders? It is a program that provides Christmas gifts to local senior citizens.
