Love…exciting and new! Come on in, we are expecting you…at the library… right here on Main Street! There is a lot to love about your local library, the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library. We are hosting “Blind Date With A Book”. What is behind wrapped paper number 1, paper number 2 or paper number 3? Adults will get a chance to pick out a paper wrapped book and take it home to find out! These books could be romance, mystery, adventure…who knows what awaits you behind the wrapping paper! It is one “blind date” per patron while supplies last. Parents please be aware that these books are intended for adults with mature themes.

We haven’t forgotten about our younger patrons; with programs and craft-projects-to-go, there is enough “love” to share! We have added several new craft-projects-to-go, celebrating the love of animals in honor of Penny the Library Cat.

Speaking of love, the library is causing a scandal by passing out kisses! Don’t panic, it is Hershey kisses. Just ask a staff member for a “kiss” to receive a little foil wrapped chocolate treat — one kiss per patron, per visit while supplies last.
