Rocks Baptist Church in Pamplin enjoyed a successful 250th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 18, that featured a great turnout, remembrance of its history and a display of the church’s values.
One of the purposes of this celebration was to ensure that old members of the church would come back and visit.
“While there were many who could not make it, many did, and it was great to worship with them again,” stated Rocks Baptist Church Chairman of Deacons Ken Caldwell.
At least 150 people attended the church’s 250th Anniversary Celebration. Rocks Baptist Church is grateful for this number since the church doubled its average Sunday attendance of 75 people per mass.
