At the Appomattox County Board of Supervisors’ meeting Monday, County Administrator Susan Adams announced that county staff would return to the office.

She said the plan was to have staff return to work today.

“I think everybody has been fully educated on all of the practices that have been put in place by the CDC,” said Adams. “We are providing masks to every employee. We are trying to keep the hand sanitizer, the soaps — everything convenient for them. We’re still limiting social exposure, and I think the social distancing will be fine because everyone has individual offices. And they know that if they need to meet with each other, to keep that distance.”
