Robin Snyder, superintendent of the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park, spoke at both the November and December Appomattox Town Council meetings, providing updates on what has been and will be happening in the community’s national park.
She presented both fiscal 2021 accomplishments and fiscal 2022 Programs and Projects.
Snyder remarked that she enjoys opportunities to come and share what is happening at the park when she is not making any requests of the town.
In fiscal 2021, the park operated on a base budget of $1,900,000. The 17 employees’ labor was supplemented with 6,000 hours of volunteer help.
