APPOMATTOX, Va. -- On Monday, May 20 at 10 a.m., The Farmers Bank of Appomattox will be breaking ground for their new Lynchburg Branch Office, which will be located at 8112 Timberlake Road.
The new branch office will be the sixth office for Farmers Ban, which will serve over 27,500 people at the time it officially opens in early 2025. The facility will be 3,626 square feet and have three drive-thru lanes, one of which will house a drive-up ATM.
Farmers Bank will be rolling out modern technology and design to best serve customers and employees.
John Caldwell, the president and CEO for The Farmers Bank of Appomattox, will be joined by the executive officers and the chairman of the board of directors from Farmers Bank at the groundbreaking ceremony.
The Farmers Bank of Appomattox is partnering with PWCampbell, a design-build firm specializing in financial institutions for over 100 years.
Other local officials may be in attendance for this event.
