Appomattox and Concord fire departments respond to shed fire

APPOMATTOX, Va. - On Monday at 11:53 p.m., Concord Volunteer Fire Department Co. 13 was dispatched second due into Appomattox County for a confirmed residential structure fire on Depot Lane.

Engine 13-1 (w/2) responded. While in route, additional information was given that it was a shed fully involved and close to a residence. E13-1 arrived to find the fire contained and extinguished and began assisting Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department with overhaul.

All other Co. 13 units were disregarded. E13-1 cleared shortly after.
