Appomattox Elementary School student Madelyn Tucker is the 1st Place Elementary School Winner of the 2024 Virginia School Boards Association’s (VSBA) Southern Regional Art Contest. Tucker’s entry is titled “A Snowy Burrow Scene.”
The 2024 VSBA Southern Regional Spring Network Forum was held Wednesday, March 13 at the Appomattox County High School cafeteria, hosted by the Appomattox County School Board. All contest winners were announced March 13.
“This gathering provided an excellent opportunity to connect with other divisions in our region, appreciate student artwork, and engage in discussions on topics relevant to school board members in the area,” Appomattox County Public Schools (ACPS) stated on its website.
