The Falling River Country Club will be hosting a “Smith Strong” Golf Fundraiser on July 30-31 to benefit Appomattox Raiders football coach Doug Smith, who is undergoing treatment for a cancer named multiple myeloma. The tournament is 18-hole Captain’s Choice. Cost to register is $250 per team and inludes golf, lunch, a #Smithstrong towel, bracelet and various hole prizes.
