Our band of four brothers — by choice, not by blood — are seeking an adventure. Living in New Jersey and working in the city, the most excitement we see is the subway. We were all tasked with planning an exciting trip with all the details and cost to discuss. We have set a meeting for Saturday after next.

Saturday arrives, and we draw numbers as to who is going to present their ideas. I pulled number four, so I’ll go last.

John is up first. His suggestion is Iceland, to hike, bathe in the warm springs and play golf above the Arctic Circle.

Then, Bob starts in with a big fanfare about riding camels in the desert as part of a real caravan, sleeping in tents, eating outdoors and watching belly dancers. We would start in southern Egypt and travel thru Giza to see the pyramids and Valley of the Kings before ending up in Cairo. A week of pure adventure.
