The 2024 Summer Reading Program “Adventure Begins At Your Library!” has officially started!! This program is open to patrons two years of age and up; we have a group for everyone. If your child is less than two years of age, we encourage you to sign them up for the “1,000 Things Before Kindergarten” program and let them start earning free books. This is a great time to come in and get your library card! (We would like to remind parents/guardians that you must have your own library card in order to get your child one.)

Oh, no! He’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Bruce the great white shark has returned to the Jamerson Library just in time for summer reading, shark week, lots of fun, and to snack on patrons. Bring your cameras and phones to get your photo with Bruce. We will be hosting him in the Young Adult section of the library for June and July.

On Thursday, May 23rd, the library hosted our Jamerson Movie Matinee with free refreshments. We featured a film that was about overcoming your fears and opening yourself up to the world and its opportunities. We will resume Movie Matinees starting back up in early fall. Keep an eye out for some family movie pop-ups that we will be hosting during the summer months.
