Tis the season to visit your local library, the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library! We are busy with extra programming, outreach, and holiday fun! The colder nights of fall/winter might be upon us, but here on Main Street, we are the “hot” place to be! Come in for a visit as we have lots of new movies, crafts-to-go, kits to checkout, a new selection of phonics books, DVDs, and best sellers to choose from, as well as lots of programs to attend.

Bombs away! On Tuesday, Oct. 18, the library sponsored Kasandra Meadows as she taught an evening, family-oriented, class on how to make bath bombs. This program was just in time to learn a new skill for making your own holiday gifts. Keep an eye out when your in the library as we will be creating a kit that can be checked out and will include molds as well as some supplies to make your own bath bombs at home. If you are interested in making your own holiday gifts, like the bath bombs, we also carry a nice selection of books and DVDs on crafting and baking, why not consider making something special for someone this year?
