Next Tuesday is Election Day! The 2022 mid-term election is coming to a close, and I am optimistic that Republicans will be elected in large numbers across the country. National polls have shown Republicans leading in the generic vote and making huge gains in districts that would otherwise be non-competitive. With Democrats holding 224 seats to Republicans 213 we stand a very real chance of flipping the balance of power in the House of Representatives this year and putting a stop to some of the insanity in Washington, D.C.
I am not surprised by the sentiment of most voters towards our current administration. Like we saw under the Ralph Northam administration in Virginia, Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats are out of touch with the needs of everyday Virginians. Seemingly clueless to the struggles you and I see each day. With inflation up over eight percent just this year and gas prices more than doubling over the previous two years, each one of us is feeling the crunch.
