Paul Leon Edmonds, 78, of Charles Drive, Appomattox died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Patricia Gilbert Edmonds.
Born in Appomattox County, Va., on November 14, 1939, he was a son of the late Violet Cumbie and William Paul Edmonds. He was VDOT inspector and retired as Vice-President of D.S. Nash Construction. Leon was a charter member of the Appomattox Moose #975.In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Debbie Cooper and husband, Scott and Alan Edmonds all of Appomattox; four grandchildren, Rhiannon Ziegler and husband, Edmund, Drew Camden and wife, Lindsey, Joshua Stockdale, and Blake Jamerson; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce E. Herman and husband, Jim and Dreama E. McDaniel all of Alabama.

It was Leon’s wishes to be cremated and for friends to visit at his home on Thursday, July 19, from 2 until 4 pm.
