Vernelle Page Bellon of Baltimore, MD, died January 17, 2019, at age 97.

She was the beloved mother of Jerry Guthrie (Pat) of Ormond Beach, FL, and Faye Tucker of Baltimore, MD; sister of S. Ray Page (June) of Appomattox, VA; grandmother of Denise Leuschel, Sandra Farkas (Tom), Guy Guthrie (Kathi) and Karen Christas (George); great-grandmother of nine; and great-great-grandmother of 10. Also surviving are multiple nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three husbands; parents Charlie and Grace Page; siblings Susie, Mary, Vera, Gladys, Christian, Agnes, Charlie, Irene and Lathan; as well as her great-grandson Corey Guthrie.

She will be sorely missed by many, including her coffee customers at the 7-Eleven in Fullerton, MD, where she was affectionately called “Mom” for many years. She unselfishly donated her body to science.

Private services will be held at a later date, and her body will be donated to the State Anatomy Board (Maryland).
