CASA of Central Virginia inducted 15 new volunteers at its induction ceremony on Wednesday, April 19, at 5:30 p.m. The ceremony took place at the Lynchburg Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court at 909 Court Street.
Allison Stronza provided a brief welcome to the new volunteers and their family and friends. The Honorable Jennifer Stille officiated the swearing in of the new advocates. A reception followed the ceremony.
These 15 new Court Appointed Special Advocates just completed a nine-week, 40-plus- hour training course. They each attended nine in-person classes and two court observations.
