Company 9 responded to a reported structure fire on the morning of Dec. 20 at approximately 2 a.m., according to a post by the Red House Volunteer Fire Department. Engine 9 arrived to find an outbuilding fully involved. Company 8 (Phenix) and Company 11 (Brookneal) assisted, second and third due. The cause of the fire was under investigation at the time of the post.
