Fire Chief Jonathan Garrett of Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department is accepted a shipment of Burn Prevention Tips and Coloring Books from Noble Bill Harvey of the Kazim Shrine Temple & Lynchburg Shrine Club.

These books are for the education of parents and children through a joint outreach between Shriners and their local fire departments in hopes of preventing fires and burns to children. Earlier in the day, Fire Chief Richardson of the Pamplin Volunter Fire Department received books as well.

Kazim Shrine Temple’s mission is support of the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
