The Appomattox County Board of Supervisors voted on the 2021 Comprehensive Plan Update at its Nov. 16 meeting.
The board held a public hearing in October about the matter, and nobody from the public spoke about it. Supervisor Watkins Abbitt Jr. (Piney Mountain District), who attended the October meeting remotely via telephone, had requested that the matter be tabled so that he could look at all the changes before voting on it.
The board revisited the matter in November, and Chairman Samuel Carter (Courthouse District) remarked, “there’s a whole lot there.”
