Pamplin Area Legacy Supporters (PALS) has extended the deadline for design applications to April 5, giving contestants three more weeks to complete or update their LOVEWorks sculpture designs.
The contest winner will be announced by April 30 after review by a panel of local jurors.
PALS and the town of Pamplin launched the contest to design, create and install a new scuplture at the Pamplin Depot in Southside Virginia.
The partnership of PALS and the town of Pamplin is seeking area artisans to submit their ideas for a LOVEWorks sculpture which meets the guidelines set by the Virginia Tourism Council (VTC) for this 2021 contest. The invitation to submit is open to individual artists or collaborative groups within 30 miles of Pamplin or those who have an existing connection with the Pamplin community.
