Shirley Gayle Booth Nash, 84, of Appomattox, died Monday, July 2, 2018, at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Lee Nash.
Born in Concord, Va., on November 12, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Cornelia Ann Drinkard and Pax Booth. She was a member of Early’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Shirley graduated from Concord High School in 1951, was a seamstress for Appomattox Garment Factory, and worked for many years at The Caboose Sub Shop.
She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Terry) Robertson of Appomattox and Rhonda (Harry) Hall of Madison Heights; four sons, Ronnie (Doris) Nash, Allen (Jane) Nash, Michael Nash, and Steven (Nancy) Nash all of Appomattox; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.

Deceased’s funeral arrangements: A memorial service was held at 7 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Rusty Small. The family received friends following the service.
