Walter Sale Munford, 92, of Oakville Road, Appomattox, died Thursday, August 9, 2018.Born in Waverly, April 22, 1926, he was a son of the late Ida Bell Sale and Cassie Munford. Walter served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired from Reynolds Metals in Richmond.He is survived by his companion of 24 years, Deborah Jeffery. A celebration of life was held 2 pm., Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Robinson Funeral Home.
