Sabina Kay “Beanie” Pollard, age 68 of Nathalie, went to be with her Lord on October 24, 2018 in Lynchburg. She was born on July 28, 1950 to the late Herman Anderson Varner and the late Helen Lucille Baldwin Varner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Varner.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Pollard of Nathalie; two daughters, Carol Hawkins and beloved son-in-law (William) of Nathalie and Kinn Marie Adams of Elon, NC; son, David A. Pollard, and beloved daughter-in-law, (Tina) of Elon, NC; two grandchildren, Hunter Everette and Norah Gayle. She is also survived by a daughter of her heart, Cynthia Jones of Pamplin and her children, Robbie and Keith; and numerous grandchildren of her heart; two sisters, Carla Torrence (James) and Marsha Ryan (Nedroot), both of Appomattox; two brothers, Ronald Varner of Appomattox and Herman Junior Varner of Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 12 noon at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Red House. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com. Arrangements were by Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Brookneal.
