Mr. Earnest William Clark, age 83 of Appomattox, died on June 22, 2018 in Appomattox. He was the son of the late Joseph Clark and Eva Jones Clark. He was married to Mrs. Ethel Henry Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Henry Clark of Appomattox; two daughters, Paula Faye Clark of Woodbridge, and Candice M. Jones of Rustburg; seven sons, William Hamlett of Gladys, Reginald Clark (Thella) of Pennsylvania, William Clark (Bernice) of Altavista, James Clark (Denise), Steve Clark, Timothy Clark and Gerald Clark (Frances) all of Appomattox; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; five sisters, Inez P. Scott of Appomattox, Colleen Guion and Carolyn Jones, and Mary Frances Yelldell, all of Washington, DC, and Myrtle Price (James) of Gordonsville; one brother, Henry Clark of Concord; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Patrick of Washington, DC and Sandra Pennix of Appomattox, brothers-in-law, Daniel Henry (Camilla) of Spout Springs, and Herbert Henry (Linda) of Appomattox; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church in Brookneal with interment in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com. Arrangements were by Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Brookneal.
