Susan Moseley Booker, 50, of Richmond, VA passed away October 24, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Sophialyn (Sophie) Beverly Booker; mother, Pattie Adams Bailey and step-father, Louis Philip Bailey of Buckingham, VA; and father, John R. Booker of Appomattox, VA. She is also survived by two brothers: John R. Booker, Jr. (Donna), of Murfreesboro, TN and Adam B. Booker (Michelle) of Richmond, VA, and two step brothers, Matthew L. Bailey (Barbara) of Richmond, VA, and Andrew R. Bailey of Lewisburg, WV, as well as many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew.
Susan was a loving mother and teacher. She was a VCU graduate and was employed by St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Richmond as a day school teacher.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2 p.m. at Dunkum Funeral Home in Dillwyn, VA 23936.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Richmond, 3602 Hawthorne Ave, Richmond, VA 23222 or charitable organization of your choice.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening at the Appomattox Inn and Suites from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
